Why was my package returned to sender?Updated a year ago
"Return to Sender" can occur due to various reasons such as:
- Wrong address including ZIP code: If the address provided on the order form is incorrect the postal service may return it to the sender.
- Incomplete address details: Missing suite or apartment number, or any other crucial information, can lead to the inability of the postal service to deliver the package, resulting in the package being returned to the sender.
- Failure to pick up the item at the local post before the deadline: If the recipient fails to collect the package within the specified timeframe from the local post office, it may be returned to the sender.
In any of these cases, it's advisable to contact the local post office to confirm the status and location of the package. If it's still within the local area, arrangements can often be made for it to be picked up or rescheduled for delivery.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that the shipping address entered is correct before submitting an order.
Dēpology is not liable for unsuccessful delivery due to the wrong or incomplete address indicated in the form. If you entered the wrong address on our order form, we could reship your package for additional shipping and handling charges equal to your original order.
